So you have a job thats slowly killing your soul? Or a job you’re just keeping because you need to pay the bills?

Have you always wanted to start your own business but you’ve had doubts about what buisiness you would start, or worries about whether you could actually make it work, or fears about putting yourself out there?

That’s completely normal!

If you’ve only ever worked a day job then considering another path is scary. I know, I’ve been there.

But there is a way to follow your dreams without taking a big scary risk of quitting your day job with no safety net.

You don’t need loads of savings, you can do this even if you don’t have a partner who can support you financially. You can do this even if you don’t know where to start right now.

If you have an inner knowing that you are meant for more than you’re currently doing with your life, a determination to figure it out and the willingness to learn then you can do this.

You can find your passion, figure out how to make money from this and get started while you hang on to the “safety” of your monthly paycheck.

You don’t have to make the decision to leave your day job until you’re confident in your business and it’s generating enough revenue.

Take a look at the steps below to see why this is totally possible for you!

“SURVIVE” YOUR DAY JOB

If you’re barely hanging on in your day job and you’re just there because you have bills to pay then this “survival kit” will really help you.

I’ve created a “9-5 survival guide” which includes 10 tips/strategies you can use to make your time in your day job a bit more bearable and much less draining.

I’ve also recorded a guided visualisation for you to do which will show you how to visualise the future you want and remember your current situation is only temporary. This visualisation is best done after work to create that boundary between work and home 🙂

FIND YOUR PASSION/PURPOSE

If you’re finding it hard to find your passion/purpose I’ve created something that will help.

I’ve written a blog post to show you the process I used to find my passion so that you can see how lots of little “clues” within my life came together to show me the answer.

At the bottom of the blog post you’ll be able to grab your free journalling prompts to help you to look inside of you for the answers you need.

CHOOSE YOUR BUSINESS IDEA

Do you know where your passions lie but you’re struggling to choose the right business idea for you?

START YOUR BUSINESS

It can be tricky to know what to prioritise at the very start. It’s easy to feel overwhelmed especially if you look at what more established businesses are doing.

Take a step back, take a deep breath and take a look at the tips by clicking the button below.

JUGGLE YOUR DAY JOB AND YOUR BUSINESS SUCCESSFULLY

This is the most challenging step if you’re one of those who need to keep a day job while building your business. Trying to find time in your day to juggle everything, when you’re dealing with a day job that drains you and a big “to-do” list for your business is tough!

To be successful at this stage you need to use your time wisely (follow the link below for some advice) and use the resources in step 1 to conserve your brain power for your business!

GO PART TIME IN YOUR DAY JOB

Eventually you will reach a point where you feel that you need more time to dedicate to your business, but you’re still working a full time job.

This is a good problem to have! It means your business is growing.

Now is the time to think about reducing your hours at work so that you can start to gradually transition to working in your business full time.

Could you drop a day per week? Two days per week?

If your employer refuses to let you do this could you look for a part time position that will give you the time you need to take your business to the next level?

GROW YOUR BUSINESS BIG ENOUGH TO REPLACE YOUR DAY JOB INCOME

This is when it’s super important to know your numbers. It’s time to stop hiding from your finances and do some sums.

You need to find your “number”. This is the amount of revenue you need to earn in your business to be able to pay yourself, pay your business expenses, pay your taxes and make some profit.

There are some simple calculations you can do to reach this number. Once you have it you have something to work towards. Once you hit it you know you can confidently leave your day job and put all of your energy into your business.

LEAVE YOUR DAY JOB AND STEP INTO THE FREEDOM YOU’VE EARNED

It’s time to hand in your notice!

Once you’ve hit your “number” (see step 7) then you can feel confident that your business will make enough to support your lifestyle.

You can finally say goodbye to your day job, all of that negative energy and you can stop being mentally drained everyday.

You’ve done it! You’ve worked through all of the steps and now you can enjoy the reward of the freedom you’re about to gain!

I’ve created an awesome online space for women following this pathway to come together, learn and support each other.

It’s an online membership filled with resources to support you at each of these steps. Piece by piece you will build the business and life of your dreams.

To make it you’ll need to be surrounded by people who ‘get’ what you’re trying to do (sometimes work colleagues just don’t understand and can be judgemental and negative). The community of women inside the membership are like a family. They are super welcoming, supportive and kind. Don’t take this journey alone – take it with people who’ve got your back and who get you.
